About the founder
I’m Andrila Deka, founder of Ansan. I started Ansan from a desire to create clothing that felt thoughtful, versatile, and genuinely enjoyable to wear. As someone who was constantly searching for pieces that balanced design, quality, and functionality, I often found myself wishing for a wardrobe that felt more considered and less complicated. What began as a personal pursuit evolved into Ansan — a contemporary womenswear label built around intention, wearability, and modern femininity. Every collection starts with a focus on proportion, fabric, and the way clothing fits into a woman’s everyday life. Originally from Assam and now based in Delhi, I design with the belief that great clothing should feel effortless to wear and relevant long after the moment it is bought.
